Shell House, Sydney

Hospitality
The stunning burgundy feature staircase at Shell House seamlessly connects the dining room, terrace, and sky bar, offering visitors stunning views and a visually dynamic journey through the iconic 400-tonne clock tower.

Shell House is a dynamic space with four unique personalities, each sequenced seamlessly to be enjoyed for their standalone sophistication or indulged in from one to the next. With a meticulous attention to detail and an intrinsic care for patrons' needs, the building offers multiple modes and levels of experience. The curved feature staircase enhances the visual depth and energy of the space, serving as the beating heart of Shell House. Owned by The Point Group and designed by the renowned Woods Bagot, Shell House's restaurants and bars are housed within the iconic 400-tonne clock.

Connecting the dining room and terrace on level 9 to the sky bar on level 10, the elegant staircase, crafted by Asentis, offers a seamless journey for visitors. It leads them from the dining area to the sky bar, where they’re treated to stunning views of the landmark clock tower, the Sydney skyline, and the bustling streets below.

The feature staircase, with a floor-to-floor height of 4260mm, includes a graceful half-circle landing and sleek steel plate balustrades and handrails, carefully fabricated to enhance the space’s elegance. The entire experience transports patrons to a more liberated time, embracing theatricality and play, inviting people to linger and enjoy the journey between spaces.
