University Chambers, Sydney

Commercial , Legal
A quiet statement in craftsmanship, the Asentis stair at University Chambers brings sculptural elegance and purposeful flow to this boutique legal workspace.

Elevated, refined and deeply considered, the staircase at University Chambers speaks to the values that underpin this boutique legal workplace. Located in Sydney’s Macquarie House, the chambers enjoy a prominent position within an A-grade office tower, with panoramic views across the city, Royal Botanic Gardens and Sydney Harbour—a fitting backdrop for one of the city’s most respected commercial law chambers.

Designed by 4PM Projects, the workplace balances sustainability, wellbeing and precision. At its core, the Asentis staircase provides an elegant transition between floors—inviting movement, interaction and connection. Framed by a custom brass balustrade screen, the stair navigates base-build constraints with ease, introducing a quiet sense of luxury and flow throughout the space.

Every detail has been considered. Hand-stitched leather wraps the handrails, adding texture and warmth. Sculptural yet restrained, the stair is a defining architectural element—timeless in form, and emblematic of the craftsmanship Asentis brings to every project.
