Once a 1940s wool storage hub, The Woolstores Alexandria now houses expansive, creative office spaces that blend rustic heritage with contemporary design. The development transforms four heritage woolsheds into approximately 10,000sqm of adaptive re-use workspace, featuring mezzanine levels, original timber trusses, and polished concrete floors. Waterfront decking and landscaped areas create open, inviting spaces that nurture collaboration and community.
Asentis contributed ten striking staircases and balustrades to the project, designed to complement the building’s industrial-meets-modern aesthetic. With open channel stringers reflecting the exposed structural framework, timber treads, glazed balustrades, and stainless steel handrails, each stairway delivers both visual impact and functional excellence.
Selected for our design expertise and resourceful approach, the Asentis team executed every stage with precision and efficiency, ensuring the stairways enhanced the architectural character of this unique $65 million development. Tenants benefit from contemporary amenities including a café, childcare facilities, ample parking, and unrivalled access to Sydney Airport, Port Botany, Green Square Station, and the CBD—making The Woolstores Alexandria a standout destination in one of Sydney’s most dynamic urban hubs.
