Central to Susquehanna's workspace is a striking 2200mm-wide staircase, which seamlessly connects the upper and lower levels while embodying the refined elegance of the space.

Asentis partnered with Endrim Design to create a luxury commercial office space for Susquehanna International Group (SIG), a global quantitative trading firm specialising in derivative trading. The project aimed to design a space that embodies SIG's entrepreneurial mindset, rigorous analytic approach, and expertise in diverse financial products and asset classes. The challenge was to reflect the company's sophisticated, high-level approach within the office’s design.

The design focused on creating a seamless flow between the upper and lower levels, with a wider 2200mm stair as the central element. The juxtaposition of materials, including concrete-look treads at the stair base, connected the plinth surrounding the stairs. The design needed to be both functional and visually appealing while capturing the refined elegance of a high-end corporate space.

Asentis worked closely with the design team to ensure the space met the client’s needs. Timber battens were used as a feature screen, creating a visual connection to the lower level while also forming the stair balustrade. Concealed LED lighting integrated into the black-painted stainless steel handrails created a striking contrast with the timber, contributing to the luxurious, modern aesthetic with high-quality materials like timber and stainless steel.
