As 2025 comes to a close, we’re taking a moment to celebrate a year defined by meaningful partnerships, thoughtful design solutions, and the shared ambition to create workplaces where people feel connected and supported. From complex stair geometries to seamless project delivery across Australia, every milestone this year was made possible by your collaboration and trust. Thank you for being part of our journey. Here’s a look at what we achieved together.

Our Year in Review

New Name, New Brand

Earlier this year, we rebranded from Active Metal to Asentis. Almost a year in, we’re reflecting on what this change means for our clients: a renewed focus on design excellence, innovation, and creating workplaces that foster connection. Discover why we do what we do and enjoy a glimpse of some of our standout projects from 2025.

2025 Workplaces in Action

AGL, Adelaide

The AGL staircase connects multiple workplace zones while enhancing flow and collaboration. Strategically positioned, it links social spaces, meeting rooms, wellness areas, the town hall, and outdoor terraces; helping the client create a truly engaging environment. A sculptural high-gloss blue balustrade serves as a visual signature, framed by six unique tiles and a warm timber handrail. More than a stair, it’s a place to pause, interact, and enjoy a layered workplace experience, fully integrated into the workspace design.

Senex Energy, Brisbane

A series of six interconnecting stairs link all seven levels at Senex Energy, creating a vertical spine that encourages movement, connection, and openness. A central timber amphitheatre supports presentations, collaboration, and informal gatherings, making the stair both the functional and social heart of the workplace. Technically complex yet seamlessly integrated, the stairs and custom balustrades deliver a visually striking centrepiece that enhances operational efficiency while elevating the overall workspace experience.

Telstra, Sydney

At Telstra’s Sydney head office, 400 George Street, the workplace was transformed into a highly connected and collaborative environment. The feature staircase, linking Levels 3 to 5, acts as both a functional connector and a striking architectural element, encouraging movement and interaction. Its refined material palette and light-filled setting bring warmth and clarity while complementing the existing design. Careful planning enabled construction within an occupied building, supporting a broader workplace strategy that enhances connection, culture, and flow.

Thank you.

A huge thank you to all our clients and partners. We’re grateful for your trust, collaboration, and creativity this year. We look forward to continuing to shape amazing spaces, solve design challenges, and create exceptional workplaces together in 2026!
